So, as promised, the prints have been deactivated and will not be reactivated.
I've got a couple of big WIPs that are sitting on my desktop waiting to be done. This is my year, I think, for really EPIC paintings. Also, I really want to be pushing myself as hard as possible since I intend to start sending out inquiries to various art directors at companies I'd like to work for. No offense meant to anyone, but I'd like to eventually stop taking private commissions unless I really want to. They don't pay well, usually, and don't really advance me professionally, and I find less and less personal satisfaction in them. Oddly, the idea of working for a company who basically tells me what to paint doesn't really bother me as much. Go figure.
This Saturday (two days!) *
LouisaGallie is flying all the way from Scotland to visit me for a couple of weeks. I'm really excited and we're already talking about possibly doing some collaborative art pieces, and I'm going to show her how to make masks. We met several years ago, via dA and our mutal love for Labyrinth, and she's like my soul-sister now. Getting to hang out with her in person is going to be loads of fun. I'm probably also going to take her to Disney because, sorry, EuroDisney? Not the same thing at ALL. (Yes, this is her first trip to the States.)
So if my gallery fills up with close up pictures of Jareth's bulge... I'll apologize in advance.
